    Eliza - Obsessed
LOVE this product. Leaves skin so soft, supple, and glowing. I have some mild acne and it even seems to help reduce my breakouts and calm my skin. Even with combination skin (oily t zone) this works wonders. I use it once or twice a week and my skin always looks its best the morning after!
    Lisa - Amazing
I have combination skin oily tzone and dehydrated skin area. This mask is fantastic I leave it on over night and wake up to lovely plump hydrated skin. I used under the eyes too as this area if dehydrated will show all the fine lines. I haven't had any breakout or reaction from the product which is great as I am prone to acne also doesn't clog pores. I don't find it sticky or tacky even when left on during the night like some reviewers have commented.
Debbie - Fabulous mask for my dry mature skin
I can't live without this mask - I always use it the morning before a function as it really wakes up my skin and gives it back some of it's youthful glow. Great for mature skins.
Katrina - Bring back the old formula
I used to love this mask. I recommended it to friends who loved it and then the product suddenly changed and now it balls up on my skin and doesn't sink in at all. It took me some time to realise that the formula was different and it was only by reading other reviews that I understood what had happened. Perhaps there was publicity that informed clients of this, but I feel like it should be made really clear when I product has been reformulated. It may have been a while after it was released that I had to order a new tube but even so, it's not cheap and I thought for some time that maybe I had a bad one off tube before I realised it was a different formula. I am not sure why they changed it but I really miss the old one.

Customer Care: We are sorry to hear that this product is not suitable for your skin. The former formula was discontinued in 2013. Please contact our Customer Care Team should you need further advice.
    MB - Excellent
I use this mask as a cream, every morning before applying make up. I don't have very dry skin, but I love the feel of this super rich moisturising product. It leaves the face plump and the make up glides perfectly, avoiding dry patches and creases. It is also great that is fragrance free and not tacky at all, the skin drinks it super fast.
    Lucy - Overnight improvement
I used this on my whole face, when my combination skin had had a bad reaction to some retinol and was dry and flaking. It sorted it all out and made it soft and smooth. Very hydrating although so thick I'm not sure I can bear to leave it on overnight, I think next time I'll wash it off before I go to bed. Can't wait to see what it does for my skin when its not flaring up!
Susie - I miss the old formula too!
This was a fantastic moisturiser but now when I apply it my skin feels drier than before I put it on. Please ring back the old formula!
Alice - I love this product.
I started off using this product as a mask, but have ended up using it as a night cream as I love the way my skin looks in the morning, well hydrated and refreshed. I did not realise the formula had changed as when I tried to buy it sometime ago it was out of stock. I'm just about to purchase another tube and hopefully I shall get the same results as before. I have to say though that I avoid using it around my eyes as it irritates my eyes. Having said that thank you for a great product Paula.
dryface - I miss the old formula
I used this product for years, the best night cream ever, however all of a sudden the formula changed. Whereas it used to be more watery and refreshing it is now thicker, balls up all the time and does not hydrate my skin enough. When I wake up after leaving it on overnight my skin is dry and tight but before it changed formula it was beautifully soft and hydrated. I am very disappointed as I loved this product but I cant use this now, it just doesnt hydrate me anymore. I now have a full tube of this to use up that just doesnt work for me, really disappointed, why did it change? Customer Care: Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear you are not satisfied with this product. The decision to reformulate a product is never done impulsively and many different factors are taken into account, including consumer feedback and preferences. We kindly refer you to our 30 days money back guarantee.
    sue - Pure hydration
I don't use this as a mask - it seems to be a waste of fantastic ingredients to rinse off after 15 minutes! So I slather it on as a night cream every night after AHA exfoliant. Skin is fabulously smooth in the morning, no breakouts a at all.
Sam - Amazing for dry skin - but UK customers pay double
This mask is amazing I use it sometimes as a mask for 20 minutes but usually as a night cream! It is excellent for my dry skin and I am very happy with it! That said, I do not understand why Paula thinks it is OK to charge UK customers double the price that US customers pay, plus US customers get more freebies for paying less (5 free samples per $50 order, whereas UK customers get 3 free samples per £50 order), and the US site always has very good sales on like 20% off everything and free delivery. Are we less valued Paula? Other companies sell in both countries but don't charge the same amount in pounds that they charge in dollars since £1 is worth almost $2! Please be a bit fairer with pricing.

Ladislava - Can't live without this, absolutely ideal for dry/very dry sensitive skin
After reading the reviews I decided to invest in this product to help cope with harsh dry European winters, a challenge for someone like me used to all-year round tropical weather. This mask is absolutely gorgeous as an overnight treatment. It's an absolute must-have for me now :)

The only reason why I haven't given it 5 stars, which was a bit of a disappointment, is that I simply can't use it as an eye cream like advertised. My eyes sting and get all watery, forcing me to wash the cream off around my eyes. The skin recovery moisturizer and serum do work beautifully as an eye cream, completely irritant free, but it's a bit of a shame that this does not. But besides that it's an amazing product, highly recommended.
Susie - Excellent moisturiser for dry skin
I use this mask as an every day moisturiser as I have very dry skin. It is absolutely wonderful and feels much like I am giving my skin a cool refreshing drink every time I apply it. Frankly, I don't know what I'd do without it!
    Yelleen - good
It's a bit greasy for my oily skin but I like to use it time to time when I feel my cheek is too dry :)

    Frequently asked questions

For best results, how often do I need to use Skin Recovery Hydrating Treatment Mask?

Skin Recovery Hydrating Treatment Mask can be used as often as needed. How often you use it depends on your skin type and personal preference. Those with normal skin can use this mask once per week. Those with dry skin will enjoy using this mask more frequently, preferably 2–3 times per week, with one of those times being enjoyed as an overnight treatment. Someone with very dry, dehydrated skin should use this mask (or a very emollient moisturiser) once per day, morning or evening, until his or her dryness has improved.

What is the difference between Skin Recovery Hydrating Treatment Mask and Paula's moisturisers for normal to very dry skin? Couldn't I just use Skin Recovery Moisturizer as a moisturising mask?

Skin Recovery Hydrating Treatment mask has a thicker, creamier texture than Paula's Choice nighttime moisturisers. Since it is meant to be used as a mask (occasionally being left on the skin overnight if the customer prefers or their skin needs this), it has a more slippery, emollient feel than most moisturisers.
