Psidium Guajava Fruit Extract description

More commonly known as guava, _Psidum guajava_ fruit extract is a rich source of bioactive antioxidants, including gallic acid, catechin, chlorogenic acid, rutin, quercetin, tocopherol, beta-carotene and lycopene. The leaf extract is also a good source of beneficial compounds for healthy skin. Topical application of guava fruit can deliver these valuable antioxidants to skin, assuming the product in question is packaged to keep these light- and air-sensitive compounds stable during use (meaning no jar packaging).
