Customer Care: Hello, and thank you for sharing your experience with us - we're sorry to hear this didn't work as expected for you! Please contact a member of our Customer Care team, who can assist you with a possible refund and alternative product advice.I have oily skin and has hoped that this moisturiser would work as it’s recommended for oily/combination skin. I don’t find these products good value for money. I’ve been using twice daily for 3-4 weeks and I’ve now ran out. My skin is more dehydrated and oilier than it was before. My facialist has suggested that this might be down to this ineffective moisturiser. It’s the second product I’ve tried from the brand and I’m disappointed. I wouldn’t purchase from the brand again. You can get much higher quality and effective products for the same price or a little more. When I contacted customer service they were little help. Offering to recommend products for my skin type - i’d already bought products based on their suggested products for my skin type online.
I thought I was giving the products a fair chance to work but by doing so I’ve forfeited any chance of claiming the money back guarantee.I ´ve been usin PC products for years and when I needed a new hydrator I bought this product. Very disappointed in this product, it feels that it had expired already when it arrived. I have not used it because it does not feel nice to put it in my face when yellow/ brown in color and bad smelling. It also clogs at the opening.
Customer care: Hello, and thanks for your comments! We are sorry to hear of your experience. All of our products are 100% colourant and fragrance free. What you smell is the scent of one or more of the ingredients (raw materials) used for the production. This smell can vary from batch to batch and can be interpreted differently from one customer to the next based on their sensitivity level. This moisturiser contains vitamin C which has a yellow/orange colour and can change when in contact with air, but the product is still safe to use.More than five stars to this exellent anti aging moisturizer. It makes the face look like a canvas, smoothly absorbs the oil and leaves the face soft and shine free even 5 hours afters. It layers amazing even with a lotion and a serum underneath of it. So difficult to find a non oily anti aging treatment. Thanks Paula.I have been using PC’s products for a while and have liked most of them but this one definitely seemed very odd. There was a really weird smell and the colour was off (very yellowish).. after several pumps it got clearer so i think the product has probably expired (i purchased a sample and it has no expiry date). Definitely a bit disappointed.. I can’t afford to purchase a full-sized product every time i want to try something new

Should you have any doubts about the quality or effectiveness of a product, feel free to contact our customer service team.I love this product!! It used to have very good reviews but I guess they disappeared when the website changed. Anyway I decided to leave my review because I really think it deserves better than 3.5 stars!! I love the texture of this cream it's perfect for the dry areas and it doesn't feel heavy on the oily areas. I never breakout using this and I really feel it's a great cream if you are in that age where you start to be concerned about wrinkles. I don't think you should let the smell scare you because it fades away when you put it. Anyway I love that Paula's choice doesn't put artificial smells that don't bring any benefit! My skin and I are very happy with the Hydrator! For summer, for combination skin as mine- perfect! Re-order again. This is too drying by itself. In order to use it you will need to mix it with a serum. By itself it’s expensive but if you have to use it with a serum it becomes so expensive not worth a re-order.I tried a few samples. The smell is too strong and it's similar to a soy sauce. I like soy sauce when cooking but I can't sleep at all with that smell around me. T^T

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Skin Balancing Moisture Gel and Resist Anti-Aging Clear Skin Hydrator?
Skin Balancing Moisture Gel and Resist Clear Skin Hydrator both are an excellent option for combination or oily skin. However, the composition of the resist Clear Skin Hydrator is even more focused on the improvement of the ageing skin with breakouts. So if you're dealing with wrinkles and blemishes you will probably prefer the Resist Clear Skin Hydrator.
Will my skin only need the Resist Clear Skin Hydrator to prevent breakouts?
Resist Clear Skin Hydrator contains important ingredients to reduce breakouts and post-breakout marks, but you need to use more than one product to prevent breakouts. It is essential to use a mild cleanser, an exfoliant with salicylic acid (BHA), and a moisturiser with an SPF 30 or greater. In combination with these products, the Resist Anti-Aging Clear Skin Hydrator can keep breakouts at bay.
Why does Resist Anti-Aging Clear Skin Hydrator not contain retinol?
Retinol is an amazing anti-ageing ingredient, but not the only one! Paula and her team have developed the Resist Clear Skin Hydrator as a unique formula. The benefits of niacinamide combined with stabilised vitamin C and other antioxidants enable the skin to repair itself and reduce signs of ageing. Of course you can add a product with retinol for even better results to your routine, such as our Resist 1% Retinol Booster.
