I have never been fond of using make up foundation, just a good spf moisturizer, some blush and a dusting of loose powder to set it all well, but once I decided to try this foundation.Product Rating
I still find it too heavy and obvious-looking on my skin, probably because I am used to not wearing any, but did find a great way to use it, I have very fair skin, so ordered the lightest tone (by the way, I would like to ask Paula on behalf of myself and all the other girls out there with extremely pale skin to add a lighter shade to this product, as well as to all of her other foundation and powder products, that would be so wonderful for us!)So yes, what I do is I use a drop of this great foundation mixed with the tiniest bit of a whiter shade concealer from other brand, and blending I create the perfect shade for under and around my eyes, and the texture is great too, because both products mixed together give my skin the hydration that it needs (after having applied the spf moisturizer of course, I still have a bit of dry skin on that area), and for some reason it sets perfectly without the use of powder, and what is more pleasantly surprising, it barely creates any creases.

I was wearing 'All Bases Covered' in a department store when I was shopping for make up. One of the shop assistants said "you've got beautiful skin" and then added "you're not wearing make up, are you?". (I'm 49, by the way) Isn't that the ultimate compliment and what we all want from our make up - to look beautiful and completely natural? foundation because it is top of the bill. It is just perfect for my dry to normal skin because All Bases Covered makes it look fresh and smooth. It is easy to use and provides just the right amount of coverage for my fourthy something skin. It is nearly invisible once applied because it blends perfectly. The foundation works great without powder, which I don't use because that makes my skin look to wrinkly. (Posted on 06/01/2010)
Apply to clean skin with a makeup sponge or your fingertips. Dab foundation over the central part of the face, and blend downward using short, smooth strokes. Layer as needed to build desired coverage and then smooth out any excess product.
If needed, apply a light layer of moisturizer under the foundation. If you have dry skin, moisturizer can help make foundation application easier and coverage more even.
If you plan on applying a sheer application of foundation, it is recommended that a regular sunscreen be applied first to ensure you are getting enough sun protection.
This foundation can be applied to the eyelids and then set with powder. This step will ensure an even application of eyeshadows and eyeliner.
If needed, two or more shades may be blended to create a custom color.
